My baby sister graduated high school.
It's surreal. Didn't I just do that two years ago?

Kristen is such a hard worker.
She finished school a semester early, and did an internship at a cupcake bakery.

 MAY GOAL RECAP:
++I bought fabric for pillow covers, but didn't get to sew them before we left for Idaho. We were traveling with Jeff a lot last month, too.
++I did get to help sew 72 chair sashes for Jeff's sister's wedding!

NO CLOTHES BUYING UPDATE:
++I'm starting to feel the weight of this goal. I just really love clothes.
++My dad bought me two skirts from Goodwill and my mom bought me a shirt. Kind of cheating but not really...right?

Safe at last.

After three weeks of traveling, including two weeks of Jeff being away from Ezra and I, we are all HOME.

It feels so good.

A new photo blog, and we'll be gone for a month.

Some friends from college and I started a joint photo blog called College Avenue Collective.
We all lived in the same house one summer. At 121 College Avenue. Our house has since been demolished (Probably a good thing. It was kind of gross and crooked), and we are spread out across three time zones, but we still like taking pictures. Every month we have a theme and we try to each post once a week, but sometimes it doesn't happen.

I'm really excited because this coming Memorial Day weekend (aka this weekend!) we are traveling to Idaho for Jeff's sister's wedding AND Harper is in Rexburg AND Tori is coming from Seattle so we can have a reunion!
Lots of our college friends are still in Idaho so it will be fun to see them again. However, I am kind of worried about returning to the Gem State. The last year I was in Idaho was the closest I've ever been to hell. I'm nervous those feelings will return since I'm going back to the place I felt them. I'm still trying to be posiXcore about it and combat feelings of anxiety as much as I can. I'm definitely excited to see those mountains again.

I probably won't be posting much this next month.
We'll be in Idaho for a week. Then I'm going to Indiana for a couple weeks while Jeff 1) Goes to North Dakota for work and 2) Goes to Southern California for training and his friend's wedding.

It's going to be busy.
I will try to Instagram, but I can't guarantee that I will have reception in Idaho. Jeff probably will, though.

The best day.

Sunday was the best of days.
All the days with Jeff and Ezra are good, but this one was especially great.
Jeff and Ezra spoiled me all the day long.

We went for a mid-afternoon picnic after Ezra's nap.
It was one of the best times of the day for making memories, but one of the worst times of the day for making pictures (harshest light ever).

I'm grateful to be one third of this little Poole Family unit.
And that no matter how weird, grouchy, or sad I am, they still give me more love than I deserve.

I'm ready to camp every day and eat s'mores every night.

We may not be able to go camping in the mountains when we're in Idaho because we'll be busy seeing family, but I hope Jeff can use some of his vacation days to go camping this summer.

May-be (pun) it doesn't feel like it because there are a couple inches of snow on the ground and more falling from the sky? Thanks, Des Moines.
My mom would always have me take tulips from our backyard to my elementary school teachers for May Day. I don't really know what May Day is except that it is the first day of May.

I really need to use my sewing machine! My brother and sister-in-law got it for me as a wedding present. I have used it to sew curtains. That is it.
Our throw pillows for the couch really need cases/covers. I also want to make Ezra a quilt and make a dress out of this fabric I got at DI a few years ago. But we (I) will start small.
